英検2級長文のsome・many・most・all対策｜選択肢の範囲・強さを読む独自36問

英検2級の長文読解では、選択肢が本文より強い言い方になっていないかを見ることが重要です。本文がsome studentsと言っているのに選択肢がall studentsなら、単語が似ていても内容は一致しません。many・most・some・all、may・can・must、often・alwaysなどの「範囲・強さ」を見抜くと、内容一致問題の誤答を減らせます。

結論｜選択肢の「量・頻度・確実性」が本文と同じか確認する

長文を読むときは、単語だけでなく「どこまで言っているか」を意識します。本文より範囲が広い、断定が強い、頻度が高い選択肢は注意が必要です。
