英検1級語彙の自動詞・他動詞を見抜く｜目的語の有無と意味の違いを独自36問

英検1級の語彙問題では、意味が近い動詞でも自動詞か他動詞かによって文の形が変わります。目的語を直接取れるのか、前置詞が必要なのかを判断できると、選択肢を短時間で絞れます。本記事では、自動詞・他動詞・目的語・前置詞の関係を独自36問で練習します。

まず動詞の後ろを見る

「discuss the issue」のように目的語を直接取る動詞と、「refer to the issue」のように前置詞を必要とする動詞があります。英検1級では、意味だけなら似ている選択肢が並ぶことがあるため、空所の直後に名詞があるかどうかを確認してください。
